421 “Black Widows” squadron is based out of Hill AFB in Utah. They recently transitioned from flying the Lockheed Martin F-16 Viper to the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II. This is also the unit that has been tasked with operating the F-35A Lightning II Demo Team which goes all of the globe displaying the unique capabilities of the F-35 to the public.
